When is the best time to play golf in Spain?

In Spain we enjoy the four seasons, but we have sun all year round at the Canary Islands and a mild and nice weather almost all year in the coast of the Mediterranean sea: Costa del Sol, Murcia and Comunidad Valenciana.

In fact, this is why the majority of the northern golfers from all Europe decide to come to Spain for their golf breaks during their cold and snowy periods.

Without doubt,  there are always best months than others to enjoy nicer weather. In the Costa del Sol, also called “Costa del Golf”, where you can play Valderrama Golf Course or Sotogrande, it can be too hot during July and August. Also, these two months are the local summer vacations, so there are many people everywhere. That is why, we would recommend to avoid these two months, and plan your golf trip from march to the end of june. Also it is a very good idea to plan your golf holidays from September till middle November.

If you are more willing to visit the north of Spain, surprisingly we would recommend you to visit that area during summer time, because it might rain a lot, and during the summer it is very nice and can be sunny as well but never too hot.
